Accessibility

Kouzr should be usable by everyone who is choosing a home, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced motion. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA on this site and in the app, and we treat reported barriers as bugs, not requests.

What is in place

• Pages are built on semantic HTML: real headings, landmarks, labelled navigation, and labelled forms.
• Keyboard focus is always visible, and interactive elements are reachable in a sensible order.
• The interface honors your system's reduced-motion setting: animations and hover movement are turned off when you ask for that.
• Light and dark themes both aim for AA contrast, and the site follows your system preference.
• Listing photographs carry text alternatives naming the home they show; decorative icons and artwork are hidden from assistive technology rather than read out as noise.

Known limitations

• The interactive map in the app is not fully operable by keyboard or screen reader. Everything the map shows is also available as a list, which is fully accessible; nothing lives only on the map.
• The swipe deck is gesture-first. Every card can also be judged with the visible buttons, which are keyboard-reachable, but the experience has not yet been audited with assistive technology end to end.

If any part of Kouzr is difficult or impossible for you to use, write to hello@kouzr.com and describe what happened and what you were using (browser, assistive technology). A person reads these, and fixes are prioritized ahead of new features. If you need information from a page you cannot access, say so and we will provide it directly.
