Kouzr displays real-estate listing content that originates with third parties: photographs from public listing sources, each labelled with and linked to the site it came from, records from county offices, and photos uploaded by owners who post a home here. Listing descriptions on Kouzr are written by Kouzr from the listing facts and county records. Kouzr Inc. respects the intellectual-property rights of others and responds to notices that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
Reporting infringement
If you believe material on kouzr.com or app.kouzr.com infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, send a notice to our copyright agent at dmca@kouzr.com. To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The URL of the material on this site you want removed. Every listing page has one canonical address; the page's own URL is the identification we need.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
On receipt of a complete notice we disable access to the identified material within 24 hours, and usually within the hour, and notify the person who supplied it where we can identify them. A notice that names a source rather than a page ("every photo you show from our site") is honoured the same way, for every listing from that source.
Counter-notices
If material you supplied was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include: identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was mistaken, your name, address, and telephone number, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Kouzr Inc. may be found), and your physical or electronic signature. Unless the original claimant files a court action, removed material may be restored in ten to fourteen business days.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly post infringing material are terminated. A misrepresentation in a notice or a counter-notice can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), so please be sure before you send one.
